Comfortable room, comfortable shower, with a great power shower that made for a refreshing morning and a delicious vegetarian breakfast to start the day. The fastest Wi-Fi I’ve ever had in a hotel!

Had an amazing one-night stay, enjoying the cozy double room and the delicious evening meal that really hit the spot. The live music and spa treatments were perfect for unwinding after a long day. The only slight downside was the limited parking options, but it didn't take away from our fantastic experience! 😊

Consider asking about nearby dining options before 7 PM, as some local restaurants close early.

I had a nice one night stay with my partner. The food was delish, and we loved the beautiful views from our room. Super friendly staff made us feel right at home. Just a heads up, some of the chips were kinda dry with the meal. Can't complain too much about the location though, it's perfect for exploring!

The building stands out with its prominent stone lions and charming facade along the high street, giving it a distinctive character. A variety of dining options are available, from simple snacks to full meals, perfect for tired travelers returning from a day of activities.

Upon arrival, the confusion around room reservations led to being split into separate rooms, which wasn’t ideal for our group. The breakfast area struggled with overcrowding and items running out, such as juices and bread, which could be inconvenient during peak hours. Installed shower sliding doors varied in access ease, with some rooms presenting tricky entries/exits. The advertised pub quiz didn’t materialize, leaving us looking for alternatives instead. while the offerings seemed fine, it felt a tad mishandled, lacking the seamlessness expected given the price.

I had a fantastic stay, especially enjoying the delicious pub food and the lovely cozy bar atmosphere. The breakfast was also outstanding, exceeding my expectations! I'd definitely return!

Breakfast offered delicious options, making it a great start to the day. the lack of hot water at some point during my visit was a bit disappointing.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with easy access to a well-cooked breakfast and on-site parking, which made our stay enjoyable and stress-free, especially since we arrived a short distance from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

the white lion royal hotel is a great spot for a comfy stay, really spacious and clean rooms, and the location is on the high street which is super convenient. loved the bar and restaurant, they were nice and well kept. even better, the staff were really friendly, especially the girl with blonde hair who served us. we had a large en-suite bathroom that was in good order. perfect for a couple getaway!

but the parking directions were kinda confusing, and i wish there were more options for vegetarians in the menu.
